Friday January 28, 2011 – The Indigenous Cultures Institute presented another community event in the ‘Noche de Cultura’ series (in conjunction with the Powwow in the Schools Program) with a performance & presentation by Mark Standing Eagle Baez
Here is a short video clip featuring scenes from the evening with Mark’s description of the importance of prayer, honor and healing for our communities and ourselves. Music provided by Dr.Mario Garza from his CD release Mahtzo’s Lament. The selection is titled ‘Honor Song’.
